First time?

We’ve got you

We know walking into a new studio for the first time can feel a little intimidating, but we promise, you’ll fit right in.

You don’t need to know what you’re doing or be at a certain fitness level; we’ll help you every step of the way.

Come as you are, give it a try, and before you know it, One Ride will feel like home.

Questions

The things people actually ask

Am I fit enough?

Yep. You set your pace, always. Every class is built so you choose your own effort, and nobody is checking whether you keep up.

Do I need experience?

Nope. We’ll show you how to get set up, clip in, and understand everything before class starts.

What if I feel out of place?

You won’t. Walking into something new is hard and we get that. Nobody is judging you. We still remember walking into the studio for the first time and taking our first class.

What’s the vibe?

Low lights, good music, no pressure.

Do I need my own shoes?

No. Cycling shoes rent for $3.25 including tax, and they are free during your free week. Just bring socks. If you decide to buy your own, Delta and SPD cleats both fit our pedals.

What should I bring?

Water and socks. If you have your own cycle shoes, bring those. If you do not, we will have a pair waiting for you at the desk.

How early should I get there?

At least 15 minutes before your first class. That gives us time to introduce ourselves, show you around, fit your shoes, and get you set up properly. After that, 10 minutes is plenty.

Are there lockers?

Yes. There is also a no phones policy in the cycle room, so your ride stays screen free and you get to unplug from the day.

Can I bring my kids?

We don’t have childcare, and unaccompanied minors aren’t allowed in the studio.

Can I leave early if I need to?

Please stay through the cool down. Stretching properly at the end matters for your body, and it’s the part people skip first.

Are there showers?

Yes.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Unreserve at least 2 hours before your scheduled class time and there is no penalty. Inside 2 hours it counts as a late cancellation. You will be charged a $15 fee. A no show is $20 for membership holders, or the loss of that class credit on a class package. You can cancel through your account, or by calling, texting, or emailing the studio, or by messaging the One Ride Cycle Texas Instagram. Please do not cancel by contacting your instructor directly. Running late? Call the studio at least 10 minutes before class so we can hold your bike, otherwise it goes to someone on standby 3 minutes before we start.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, and we encourage it. There are no guest passes, so your friend sets up their own account and takes their own free week. That way everyone signs their own waiver.
